Business Update - July 2008 

Earlier this year, we announced that due to the changing economic outlook, Salt Commercial had lowered its growth aspirations to 2008.  Following a very successful start to the year, the business we'd written together with our pipeline was sufficient to satisfy our appetite for the remainder of this year.

As a consequence, we've had to ensure that resources are fully aligned with the ongoing business. This may have resulted in a change in your primary point of contact at Salt Commercial and your new Business Development Manager may already have been in contact to introduce themselves.

Our BDMs are busy managing our existing portfolio and ensuring that every customer has a personal visit within the next few weeks.

We'd like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Rest assured we are 100% committed to the intermediary market and we very much hope to be inviting new business applications again in the near future.
